Host Bo McMillan chats with Dr. Felicia Scaggs-Huang, a pediatric infectious disease expert, for an in-depth look at ticks and Lyme disease. Ticks may be gross, but they’re a reality we can’t ignore—especially with hundreds of Lyme disease cases reported annually in Hamilton County, Ohio alone, each one beginning with a tick bite. Dr. Scaggs-Huang breaks down the different types of ticks, how to recognize Lyme disease symptoms, and offers practical tips on preventing bites and staying safe outdoors. Tune in to learn how to protect yourself and your family from these pesky little pests.
